Sunday 2nd October 2022

Jo Harrop

Jo Harrop possesses a beguiling voice that could give a goosebump goosebumps. Raised on a heady musical diet of Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin, Harrop recently released her debut solo album, The Heart Wants, which has received rave reviews everywhere from the Times to the Guardian, been played extensively on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and Jazz FM and is currently riding high in the US Jazz Album Charts.

Sunday 9th October 2022

Jo Harrop with Paul Edis and Jamie McCredie

Fresh from her recent sell-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s, Jo Harrop will be joined by two true virtuosos, guitarist Jamie McCredie and pianist Paul Edis. Alongside a selection of tracks taken from her critically acclaimed studio albums, she will be unveiling a suite of sublime songs from her forthcoming LP, When Winter Turns To Spring. Having established herself as one of the most unmistakable voices in British jazz, the legendary Iggy Pop was instantly captivated: “Her voice is delicious. When she sings, she moves me.”

Sunday 16th October 2022

Ciyo Brown’s Acoustic Soul Sessions featuring Geraldine Reid

Joining forces to dive into a joyful jukebox of jazz and soul classics, award-winning guitarist, Ciyo Brown, and singer, Geraldine Reid, have a symbiotic musical connection that blurs the boundaries between genres. Together with double bassist, Larry Bartley, they will be performing a set of sublime songs that could melt the hardest of hearts.

Sunday 23rd October 2022

Alex Webb with Lulu Pierre

A brilliant British chanteuse whose soulful swoon weaves its way between the notes like steam, Lulu Pierre stirs up an intoxicating blend of classic jazz with a cool twist. Accompanied by the brilliant British jazz pianist Alex Webb and his trio, Pierre can turn on a dime between sultry and sassy, sounding like Julie London one moment and Sarah Vaughan the next.

Sunday 30th October 2022

Paul Edis Trio featuring Alan Barnes

Blurring the boundaries between Bill Evans and Claude Debussy, Paul Edis is a natural melodist who finds the emotional resonance of every note. For this special performance he will be joined by his drum-tight trio and legendary saxophonist Alan Barnes to dive into The Still Point Of The Turning World, an achingly beautiful, impressionistic album that wells up from places Wordsworth deemed ‘too deep for tears.’

Sunday 6th November 2022

Freddie Benedict Trio

Freddie Benedict cut his teeth as the lead singer of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. His silvery fingered trumpet playing style and soft, velvety voice are uncannily reminiscent of the great Chet Baker, so it’s no surprise that he’s burst headfirst into the jazz spotlight. Accompanied by his first-rate trio, he’ll be performing a perfectly mixed cocktail of cool jazz standards and Brazilian sambas.
