Book an Alpaca Walk
- An Alpaca Walk will take an hour and a half and could be muddy so please wear boots or wellies.
Spend some time learning about these fascinating, gentle creatures and take a leisurely walk in the peaceful countryside.
What to expect
The experience starts with meeting the alpacas and learning a little about them. You will be shown how to lead your alpaca. We will then go off for a walk, done at the alpaca's pace...and they are in no rush.
Before we set off, you will be given a bag of feed to give to your alpaca along the way. We will also stop for photo opportunities so you have a memorable record of your alpaca experience.
How long does it last?
The walk takes around an hour and a half. It can get a little muddy so we advise wearing wellies or walking boots.
How many alpacas can I walk?
We can accommodate one alpaca per person, to a maximum of 9 alpacas on a walk.
There is no charge for children under 6.
Children must be 6 or over to lead an alpaca, and if under 9 an adult must hold an additional lead. The route is not suitable for buggies.
You can change or cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the booking.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are no refundable.
Please do not bring someone that has not booked as they will not be able to accompany you (due to our insurance policy restrictions).
Please note that alpacas cannot be walked individually. Please email us if you have any further questions.
