Spend some time learning about these fascinating gentle creatures and take a leisurely walk in the peaceful countryside. What better way to unwind.
What to expect
Using our tame well trained alpacas we offer alpaca walking around Bishop’s Court Farm.
The experience starts with meeting the alpacas and learning a little about them. You will be shown how to lead your alpaca. We then go off for a walk, done at the alpacas pace and they are in no rush.
During the alpaca walking you will be given a bag of feed to give to your alpaca as we walk, we also stop for photos and alpacas snacks along the way to help you enjoy the alpaca experience.
How long does it last?
The walk takes around an hour and a half. It can get a little muddy so we advise wellies or walking boots.
How many alpacas can I walk?
We can accommodate one alpaca per person.
There is no charge for children under 2.
Children must be 6 or over to lead an alpaca, and if under 9 an adult must hold an additional lead. The route is not suitable for buggy’s and small children would need to walk or be carried.
Please do not bring someone that has not booked as, due to insurance, they will not be able to accompany you.
Please note that alpacas can not be walked singularly. Email with any further enquiries.
