Lambing Experience

Private lambing experiences are available weekdays only between the 6th and 24th March 2023. Watch one of our 200 ewes giving birth and assist our specialist staff in the lambing shed. Each session will last for three hours (from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm). We can accommodate a maximum of four people per session. £40 per person. Early booking is advisable.

We will be offering Private Lambing Experiences every weekday from 6th – 24th March.
You will accompany one of our specialist staff in the lambing shed. Each session will last for three hours (from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm). Maximum of four people per session.
This is a unique opportunity to see a working sheep farm during the most special time of year. We have scheduled the dates to give you the best chance of witnessing a birth during the day, but of course, nothing is guaranteed. If births do happen during your Private Lambing Experience, you will have the unique opportunity to assist in the birth or you may just want to watch closely from the sidelines.
Spaces on our Private Lambing Experience days are limited to ensure the well-being of our precious sheep. Early booking is advisable. ***For over 16s only***
Need To Know
It is not safe for pregnant women to attend lambing.
You will need to wear old clothes and be prepared to get dirty. We recommend over-trousers and wellies or walking shoes.
If you are going to be touching our sheep, please ensure that you have short fingernails.
Although we are a dog-friendly farm, dogs are not allowed on the farm during lambing.
