Alpaca Walking at Bishop’s Court Farm

After being shown how to lead your alpaca, we then go for a walk with our companions, though this must be done at alpaca-pace – unless someone is tempting them with the prospect of food, they are rarely in a rush.
We will give you a bag of feed for your alpaca to keep him happy as you meander through our picturesque fields and lakes. Alpacas love attention, so they are only too happy to stop for snacks and photo opportunities along the way.
The Alpaca Walk takes about an hour and a half. It can get a little muddy, so we advise you to bring wellies or walking boots. Sometimes they like to walk into the lake so be prepared to get your feet wet.

Children
There is no charge for children under six-years-old. Children must be at least six to lead an alpaca, and if they are under nine, an adult must hold an additional lead. The route is not suitable for prams, so small children need to walk or be carried.
Cancellation Policy
You can change or cancel your Alpaca Walk free of charge up to 48-hours before the start of the booking. Cancellations with less than 48-hours’ notice are non-refundable unless cancelled by Bishop’s Court Farm.
Please do not bring someone that has not booked as they will not be able to accompany you (due to our insurance policy restrictions).
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
